I'm a Civil Engineer in profession and a traveler from heart . When I was 16, I crossed the borders of Sri Lanka for the first time to visit Malaysia. Then I realised there's nothing better than exploring other cultures, visiting beautiful places, meeting new people, trying local delicacies, hiking unheard mountain by the town and more and more. It changed my life and I fell in love with traveling the world. I've stepped on 17 countries so far. I always dream big! Hiking the Everest, gorilla trekking in Rwanda, a game drive in Masai Mara, meeting natives of Papua New Guinea, snorkelling in Great Barrier Reef, road trip around Europe, camping in Mongolia, cruise trip to Antarctica, backpack in Iran and more and more are on my list. I occasionally play cricket. Watch football, cricket, rugby, tennis, basketball and almost any kind of sport. I definitely love music! I think that's enough for now. Will meet and talk more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet likeminded people around the world. It's always good to have a deep discussion with a fellow traveller about their experiences and interesting stories. I would definitely like to spare my couch for you when you're visiting my town. Couchsurfing is the best way to make new interactions and get to see a country in a locals perspective. Nothing is better than seeing a place in locals point of view.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the medicine! I definitely love music of any kind. I have a zero talent in singing or playing any instrument. But hundred percent eager to learn. I always watch movies. No matter whether it's a action movie or a love story. I hardly find some free and relaxed time to read books with my work. But I do read occasionally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia is truly breathtaking. Now I know, heaven definitely exists.

Once I walked along a mountainous railway in Central Province of Sri Lanka for 20kms with my cousin. Haven't had a better walk than that in my entire life.

I ate some strange street food in Wangfu-Jing street, China. It includes scorpions, starfish, snake, seahorse and more.

I can teach you how to cook Sri Lankan food. You'll absolutely love it. I'm capable of being your cricket coach! Haha! I can teach you how to play cricket if you are eager. Let me teach you some basic phases of Sinhala ( Language of Sri Lanka). And definitely, will share my travel stories and culture.
