As for movies, I have difficulty in choosing, because I know many films worthy of attention. Maybe, my top-3 includes "The Great Gatsby", "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Effect of butterfly".
As for books the situation is similar) There are a lot of fantastic books. My favorite authors are Yuri Vynnychuk, Daniel Keyes, Erich Maria Remarque, Orwell and many other.
