Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly host travelers, which are willing to integrate in our family life and participate and contribute with the household. I have surfed with other hosts in WA and enjoyed the experience of exchanging stories of being a couch surfing host. A common theme has emerged through these exchanges, that most hosts prefer a equal exchange and do not like people who just expect and take whilst couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered couchsurfing, when looking for a house sitter. Since then the resource of the couch surfing website has enriched the life of our family in many aspects. We have hosted people in our home in Broome as well as surfed during travels down the West Coast and in Perth. We have made friends and international travelers have broadened the horizon of the children.

Interests

Circus, reading, gardening, long walks on the beach, watching movies, cleaning( I mean having a clean house, which involves the task of cleaning)- these are interests my daughter assigns to me.
Other which spring to mind are: helping people, Reiki and other healing modalities, the themes of the degree I am studying at the moment.
