About Me
Hey! I'm Miriam and I am 27 years old. I study in Germany, in an area called "Ruhrgebiet". Very industrial but people here are honest and we have some nice corners, too. I am a sports person, which means I do a lot of running, climbing and try out new sports whenever possible. Sports keep my brain intact :D. Besides, I like music of all sorts, I play a wee bit of guitar and sing, and I love electronic music for parties.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people. Seeing what the city they live in is about. Exchanging ideas. I met the most interesting people who live the most diverse lifes by contributing to couchsurfing. It widens your horizon really.
Interests
Being in the climbing gym has improved my quality of living during the pandemic- I think my main interest is to be with people I love and to move my body. climbing has combined both very well for me in the past years
Cycling, running, exploring new music, reading good books, obviously:travels, having all-night-long talks, dancing till the morning are things I enjoy when I'm not in the hospital working (which I also love a lot!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music > Books > Movies
I love many sorts of music and what I love the most is if you show me some new stuff! Reading was the way I spent my whole childhood lol, now I rarely take the time but still enjoy it when I do.
Some examples at the moment are: Courtney Barnett, Angel Olsen, Element of Crime, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead for music, last books I read were TC Boyle, Christian Kracht and Murakami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Breathing since 1995. The body is coooool.
Cycling 1000km from Germany to Italy for a good cause.
Teach, Learn, Share
Every human interaction has something to offer and I am excited to connect with different souls. I picked up playing the guitar but I'm a beginner. However, playing some chords and singing along is a lovely thing to do. I can probably teach you a headstand.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a weird humour and can clean dishes. Also, I can cook simple veggie meals. I think I'm a good company and easy going.
