ABOUT ME

I am fun and outgoing, and willing to try anything once... I love all types of food from all parts of the world, a little too much! I love sports - but prefer participating rather than sitting on the sidelines. I like routine and structure when I work, but random, spontaneity when I play. I LOVE meeting new people, and seeing parts of the world that take my breath away. Sometimes, I wish, I could freeze time to absorb the moments I find myself in. I need goals to constantly have something to look forward to, and I get bored easily. I'm smart, witty, and down to earth. I HATE being wrong! But when I am, I'll admit it... and if it deserves an apology - I'm quick to fix the problem. I'm respectful, and expect respect in return. Do unto others as you wish upon yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed before under a joint account, so really - I've been a member and participant since 2009 - although my personal profile doesn't show that! I have surfed in Memphis TN, Santa Fe NM, and Flagstaff AZ (USA), and Canmore AB (Canada). Every experience was wonderful for different reasons. I am still on my travel journey since that trip and I can't wait to move back home to Australia, so that I can host weary travellers like myself!

Interests

Recently, my spare time (when I have it) has been spent on seeing as much of North America as I can... I have lived in Canada for 4 years, and in that time I made the most of every opportunity. I love capturing moments in my travel through photography. I love how the sound of music will make me dance in the street! I enjoy all types, dance, rock, especially indie - and seeing my favourite band/singer live is a must if they're in the same place that I am. I enjoy doing things for others, especially photo art or anything creative. I love dressing up (Halloween is my favourite holiday!) I love family, and miss them dearly. I love a good beer, and a good glass of wine! I love being outdoors; hiking, kayaking, etc. I haven't owned a pet yet - but I can't wait to own a dog. I love being in the country, but I love the beach too. I love Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy... I'm a hopeless romance/comedy fan. But movies don't take up too much of my time.
Music: Is my love. It brings joy, it emotes sadness. It promotes dance, and tells a story.
Books: I need to read more!
