I spent the last couple of decades of my life splitting time between travelling and schooling to become a physical therapist. I found both avenues great ways to meet amazing people as well as do and learn super cool things, respectively. I first caught the travel bug while on a student exchange in St. Andrews, Scotland in 2002; after high school I worked so I could afford 3 months backpacking Central America, solo and with amigos for parts of it; and after finishing my diploma in the Kootenays, I embarked on another latin America backpack trip with my best friend in South America for nearly 9 months. Finally, I pushed on to finish my two degrees with the odd road trip in the pacific northwest, either camping or sleeping in a makeshift camper.
