A modern Diogenes in philosophy and LIFESTYLE, so please see Diogenes on Wikipedia. So I do not use Skype, WhatsApp or WeChat. Judging myself? So difficult! I like to think of myself as a very knowledgeable person, politely friendly though not effusively so - in fact I am reserved as any well trained Englishman. However please read my references to get a better view about me .
Being retired I can be more attentive to the needs of CSers. I like to feel that I can tailor my guiding my guest CSers around London according to the interests of the guest
I like learning the views of other people about London and the UK.

I still do some teaching of English as a foreign language so am happy to help there if wanted.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Why I'm on Couchsurfing? When I was a poor young student, many people offered me "couches" in my backpacking travels around Europe. Now I am a poor retired old man I feel that I should repay that debt as best I can. So offers of a sofa bed it is! I hope my small efforts make some contribution to understanding between peoples and perhaps even to causing just a tiny contribution to more peace between nations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many times, but surfed only once., but I enjoy showing guests London - I am a Londonmaniac. I have never had any significant problems with a variety of CSers and intend to keep hosting.
