About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Maybe it's just meant to be.

ABOUT ME

Marisa was mail ordered from the orient, adopted and given Hungarian, Irish, Jewish and Catholic influences. She is trying to stop interfacing with the computer all the time and not be tied down with jobs. No children, just a large fishtank.

PHILOSOPHY

So many places to see, so many things to do, learning experiences all. Life is short, stay healthy and make the most of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up years ago on CS but so long ago that my login was no longer valid. Never heard from anyone so just sort of forgot about the site until I read about it recently on BootsnAll. My husband retired in 2013 and we moved up to Maryland to be near his sister.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met a few people in Korea, China and from the Netherlands and the USA so far through CS. All people I'd like to see again someday in the future.

Interests

Marisa is into photography, music (plays cello, viola, violin, uke, and guitar on a low level), travel, nature, birding, board games, folk dancing, hiking, drawing, knitting, etc.
