My partner, Daniel, and I have been together since 2008. We have traveled all over the world and we often use Airbnb but we have been told many times to try couch surfing. So here it goes! We love food, travel, talking about life, movies, music, and more. To many things to list. We prefer hanging out with a small group to going out to a club but we do go dancing every now and then. We used to host many couch surfers at our apartment in New York City, but our surfers found us through word of mouth and mutual friends. We have hosted many people from all over the world. We love meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have been recommended to try this by many people. We are not interested in hotels because we love the personal connection of being in a home. We have used Airbnb all over the world and find that so much more care goes into a home than hotel rooms. We also love to connect with people around the world!
We plan to become couch surfing hosts in summer 2019 on our new property on the Finger Lakes in upstate New York.

Daniel and I are advanced Padi divers. Scuba diving is like exploring an alien planet. What an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a Reiki Master teacher who has studied healing techniques from around the world. I also teach meditation all art classes like painting and crystal wire wrapping. I love guiding meditations for people and teaching about self healing.

Daniel is a trained chef and was a fancy mixologist in NYC. He makes and excellent cocktail and is happy to show you how.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Daniel and I are happy to share all of our random talents with our hosts and chat about our experiences. We are also both very clean and helpful with domestic tasks. P.S. Daniel is VERY fast and efficient dish washer.
