One Amazing Thing I've Done
I saw Maya Angelou speak many years ago in Illinois. I served as a Catholic Worker live-in volunteer in a homeless shelter in New York. I chose to be an instant mom to 3 daughters, ages 4, 5 and 6 several years ago.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to cross stitch, make simple rag rugs, make a small hair wrap, help you research your family history, document a local cemetery and many other odd talents. I am passionate about LGBTQ rights because I have friends and family who are LGBTQ. I am a foster parent and adoptive parent. Need parenting advice? I'm your go-to person.
