Nived: I am living in Pune for last 20 years and have taken early retirement from job to live life on my own terms and pursue my interests. Monica is a Psychologist and Executive coach and works as a free lancer with various consulting firms. We are both 'Kriya Yoga' practitioners for last 15 years and living a very peaceful life. Other than that we enjoy cooking and watching movies.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Idea of meeting different people from across the world is very appealing! Otherwise when you travel and stay in a hotel it sounds too touristy! We want to travel not to tick places but to explore the essence and soul of each place, spend good time in that town/city/country, meet locals, visit the lesser known places. CS gives a very good opportunity to travel this way. Love to host: Monica and I live in a farmhouse in Pune and we have a guest room with attached toilet within our premises that offers complete privacy. We would love to host friends from across the globe with similar interests. Our place is specially good for those who want to meditate, are creative or need own time. However, we are also open to friends who might just need a bed in the night to retire. Would love to socialize and have meaningful conversations with our guests over cups of herbal tea! As a Surfer: We would prefer to stay with real people who would be interested in hosting us. We are not looking for just a place to stay but to connect and make friends. There is so much to share and learn!
