About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im in Couchsurfing because of two things:
- Meeting local people is one of the best parts of travelling. They are the ones who show you the difference between your culture and theirs, and the best places in a town usually dont appear on guides and you only get there through locals. Couchsurfing is a great great chance to get this. Not only you get to meet locals, you get to know how they live in their homes!
- Im not going to lie, travelling cheap is also a good point about couch surfing. Its not about saving money when travelling, its about beeing able to travel more with the same money!

Interests

I'm interested in almost everything out there: art, books, sports, parties, photography, history, MEDICINE, nature, animals, swimming, surfing, trekking, camping. Im a very curious person who loves meeting new people and travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have visited a group of 42 virgin islands in Thailand, and I have played with Elephants we found on a river while doing a trekking through the jungle.
I have done a road trip through Italy, 8 cities in 10 days!
I have done the walk of Santiago, twice. I really really recommend it!
I have visited the Niagara Falls.
I have been a camp counselour in YMCA camps in the United States, for three summers.
I have been in a jacuzzi at 35 degrees, in the outside, while the temperature was at -15 degrees outside the jacuzzi and full of snow!

Teach, Learn, Share

Im a medicine student, which means I spend a really huge ammount of time studying (really, mort of my day most of the days). I love what I study, learning about human body and how to heal it, but it gets very tough some times. Every time I get a few days off I try to spend my time travelling, as I think it is the greater thing someone can do to grow as a person.
All the time Im not studyng, I like spending my free time reading, painting or swimming, and, of course, hanging out with friends! I also watch several tv shows and movies-

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer conversation, stories, language practice, fun time, interest, curiosity, and medical experience if necessary! to my hosts. I am an out-going and friendly person, really really flexible and adapatable, and not easylly impressed.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Cambodia, Croatia, England, France, India, Italy, Portugal, Thailand, United States
