There’s no better feeling than travelling and experiencing different cultures. If travelling is something you can’t imagine your life without, you can spend hours talking about different countries (culture, food, people, architecture, and emotions), after one trip you immediately start planning a different one… maybe we should have a cup of coffee sometime? :) That said, I am already leaving some tips. Maybe it will be useful. Things to see and try in Kaunas: * Kaunas castle * Pažaislis monastery * Just the old town in general * An inside art yard * Lots and looots of graffiti * A number of churches Museums: * The Devil's museum * M. Čiurlionis museum * The war museum * The Zoo museum Local Pubs and Cafés: * There's a breaking bad themed pub called "Baking Mad". The food is OK and the atmosphere is awesome * We have a lot of coffee places. There is one called "Knygų ministerija" - Books ministry, which is a café in a library * A small bakery called Prezo - amazing pastries (coffee-try vanilla frappe) * A pub called "Kultūra" - culture. People just loooove this place. * One of the best pizza's in Kaunas in "Jurgis ir Drakonas" - George and the dragon * "2 1/5 Apple" a cool cider pub. * "Genys"...oh...just the best LT beer ever Food: * Šaltibarščiai (The Pink Soup) * Cepelinai * Tinginys * Kibinai * Šakotis I usually have a very busy working schedule, but I always try to find some time to meet up.
