About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn Spanish and find my dream country
ABOUT ME
I am a student in University of Edinburgh, doing Spanish and going to take some more languages to learn. I am really very interested in learning new languages, and thus getting to know with many new cultures. I have a dream to travel all around the world and to visit every country in order to see how world looks from other perspectives. I start with Europe (I've been to Germany, France, UK, Latvia, Sweden, Slovakia, Spain), then I would like to go to Africa, Australia, Asia and Americas. I hope that one day I'll be able to say - I'm done! Can't even imagine how things will seem then :) Anyways, what I really love is meeting new people form different countries and cultures, having different backgrounds than me, as I believe that we can share something important and valuable with each other.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to learn as many languages as possible in order to get to know with many interesting people all around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment looking for places to stay in different countries to discover new cultures and people; in the future planning to take guests to my home. As for now, I am meeting people in my country for tea/coffee and nice talk as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As for now, I surfed in 3 countries:
2010 June in Germany, Berlin - Sophia Bohlke hosted me and my friends for 3 nights.
2011 January in France, Paris - Sylvain Lafay hosted me and my boyfriend for 3 nights.
2011 May/June in Spain, Granada - Luis Encima hosted me and my friend for 4 nights, Cádiz - Yael Rosenstock hosted us for 1 night, Sevilla - Antonio Romero hosted us for 4 nights.
Interests
What I really like to do, is, as stated before, - to meet new people. Apart from that, I do enjoy staying in nature - doesn't matter what kind of nature; it can be forest, sea, lake, river, field - the most important thing is that is haven't been touched by humanity. However, I am interested in civilizations as well - I do like exploring cities, especially old towns, which have something very valuable in it, what do not change during long time periods. When I stay at home, I like to watch good movies or to read interesting books. What is more, I am going to get piano and guitar soon, so I'll be really engaged with both!
