About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the full and expand my mind through the versatile things I experience. I have already learnt so much about myself and want to grow on this.

ABOUT ME

I am an honest person who enjoys the simple things in life. I love pulling silly faces, making funny sounds and having a bit of a giggle. I also enjoy the smell after it rains, the feeling of walking barefoot through water, and the moments where the sun appears when you least expect it to. I am very open minded and am always down for a good conversation and experiencing new things. I eat vegan, scream in a hardcore band and have lived in a van for almost a year. I like to share experiences with people and enjoy moments of unity and total respect. I love nature and I love feeling free! Life is too short not to give it all you have.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything that has ever happened to you has led to where you are now. What is happening to you now is leading you to where you need to go. Have total faith in the universe and you will never be disappointed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of exchange and feel like this is a fundamental practise that needs to be exercised more. The most beautiful experiences I've had have been through trusting and receiving the trust of another person. Couchsurfing opens up your eyes to way more than anything you can experience in a hostel or hotel. You get to connect with locals and other travellers, learn from eachother, share stories and see the parts of the world the brochures don't tell you about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: a clockwork orange, super (or any Ellen page movie) troma movies, b-grade horror, Disney, anastacia, political documentaries (the cove, gasland, Michael Moore movies, super size me, food inc are some examples.)

Music: subhumans, the exploited, the clash, black flag, agnostic front, nasum, all the bands in the crack rock steady, sick of it all, discharge, the adicts, oi polloi, bright eyes, kimya Dawson, sage francis, mud sun, against me, exilent, nausea, nofx, bad religion... just to name a few. I'm open to most music but these kinds of bands and musicians make me happiest :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping into the freezing waters of Iceland at 5am in the morning with 50 or so drunk people at eistnaflug festival. Iceland in general.meeting so many of my idols. Having roger merit come up to me after an agnostic front show to give me a hug and make sure i was okay after he saw me go metal in the moshpit ha ha. These are just a few but my life is filled with amazing and breathtaking moments. Gotta live it to the full and not hold back from opportunities that could lead you to the best things you've ever experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you stay positive, things will always work out for you. I have been on the street with no place to go in a place i'd never been and knew no one. Still, I sat there and smiled at the people who passed me by. next thing people are giving me money, food, a jacket and a place to stay with out me even having to ask for anything. Stay positive, love yourself and the world, and things will come to you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am really good at finding the means to get things for free. I also just so happen to be a somewhat decent chef. So if you happen to like free stuff and a vegan diet hopefully we can make some amazing food together.
