About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; doing so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style. As part of my journey in this world I am determined to experience life as an emancipatory journey.

ABOUT ME

I aim to raise questions and awareness, as porous abstractions rather than solutions. "I" is always someone else. It carries the projection or potentiality of otherness within itself and always remains a fragment or something provisional regarding my identity. This probing of subjectivity as a precarious and temporary construct becomes a central issue of my practice and daily life.

PHILOSOPHY

It's mainly resumed by tow quotes,
first by Tom Stoppard: "We're actors, we're the opposite of people"; and the second one by Lewis Carroll: "The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday – but never jam to-day."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the opportunity to live and travel in a few countries now and I appreciate every encounter and lesson from life. I have been roaming for a few years in Europe, mostly in Italy and also Belgium, where I have couchsurfed a couple of times. Couchsurfing has giving me the advantage to have interesting encounters with marvelous citizens of the world. With a few of them I had the pleasure to establish a great friendship and I hope to host them back, or share another time and space. I look forward to meet them again and experience further landscapes in their company.

Interests

The three "f"'s: fact, fiction, foot rest...
visual arts, performing arts, ayurveda, coffee table books, the 2nd law of thermodynamics…

Music, Movies, and Books

Klezmer, Folk, Jazz, and Instrumental music.

Cinema, where should I start from? Happiness by Todd Solondz, The barbarian invasions by Denys Arcand and Denise Robert, Throne of blood by Kurosawa, Fahrenheit 451 by Truffaut, Leviathan by Andrey Zvyagintsev, La strada by Fellini, Possession by Julio Bracho...

I recently read ‘The key’ by Tanizaki, for the second time, and it blowed my mind again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently realized that life is no rehearsal... I’ll tell you about it in person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make fresh guacamofor from scratch!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I aim to enjoy myself in life, this task is impossible without the Other... sharing its a marvelous experience which I choose to view as a learning experience. I'm a full time researcher now and most of the time I travel for audition, seminars, performances etc. I always enjoy good quality time with others. So naturally good energy, nice conversation, discrepancies and good will laughs.
