About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to get to one new country every year of my life, but making up lost time and anticipating my future geriatric self, so getting the bulk of my travelling on now!

ABOUT ME

Definitely up for whatever. I travel to fulfill a sense of adventure and am always trying to seek out a new and more fulfilling trip. I don't mind the beaten path, but prefer to see the more artistic, funky side of things. Love food, love making my way by foot/bike, dig the arts, and overall really curious about a lot of things.

I am really easy going, ask anyone who knows me, far from high maintenance.

PHILOSOPHY

Always try everything once, so long as you are in the right mental space. Live is short, etc., etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate listing my favorites because it sounds so conceited/egotistical. I vary from text books, to newspapers, to fiction, to flyers that look interesting, to classic 60's films, to teen-flicks, to feel-good-gonna-cry movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job in New York City to move to Liberia to teach in a small village; seen small children in rural Sierra Leone run from a white friend whom they figured was the devil coming to capture them; reaching the top of Cotopaxi Volcano in Ecuador; surviving a 7.2 earthquake in Jogyakarta; so many little things that make life fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have marketing knowledge, business knowledge, developing world work/practical experience, and a bunch of connections in both the private sector (marketing businessm, etc.) and in the developing world NGO community. Happy to impart any info I can!
