CURRENT MISSION Soaking in as much of life as I can. ABOUT ME I'm a 34 year old lawyer living in the high desert. I'm a generally laid-back person who loves nature, making sure to take the time out to see the beauty surrounding me. Always out to meet new people with different experiences and new worldviews. PHILOSOPHY I try not to take things in life too seriously. I'm quick to laugh and see the humor in most everything. After all, we're all just tiny pieces of the same universe experiencing itself in unique and fascinating ways. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have both hosted and stayed with other surfers. I had a few people stay with me when I lived in DC as well as in Colorado, and I stayed with new friends in Paris and London.
Music, Movies, and Books
My top 5 favorite bands/artist are Led Zeppelin, Parliament Funkadelic, Sigur Ros, Miles Davis and James Brown. I read all kinds of books, from scifi and fantasy to English Romantic poetry to 19th c. Russian novels to nonfiction and biographies, but my favorite author is Kafka.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Swam with a manatee in the Florida Keys. Also a whale shark. But on different days.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'm a halfway decent cook so I can make you dinner or breakfast. I can provide hours of conversation if that's your thing. I can give you advice about your constitutional rights (American only).
My Interests
I like biking, hiking, snowboarding, and rock climbing - basically anything outdoors. I also like going to concerts and plays, and I love spending time in museums. I like bars, pubs and clubs, but I'm just as happy to have a nice quiet conversation at home. I love food, and like to try new things as much as I can (in food and in life).
