About Me

ABOUT ME...
Born of a mother who travelled Europe as much as she could and a dad who even used the obligatory military service as the beginning of his world traveller life (begin in Nouvelle Caledonie), I was predestined!
I spent all my childhood listening every night before bed to one of their numerous adventure. How could I not want to do the same ?
Now, 24 years old, master graduate student of Sciences Po (political sciences, social policies), and bachelor graduate in foreign languages (italian and english) it is my turn! Lets make the most of it!

PERSONALITY
What my best friends think of me... I should ask them !
I think I'm a very curious person who like discover other countries, traditions, cultures... I'm friendly, open mind and enthusiast . Most of my friend describe me as a positive, optimistic and idealistic person.

GOAL
I want to discover as much as possible. In an ideal life, I will be able to travel around the world with only a sailboat, a horse and... every friends who want to come!

PHILOSOPHY
Everyone and everything is unique and has something to transmit, we just need to know how to open our eyes and ears and listen amazed...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is, for me, a perfect way to discover a country, far from the stereotypes that we can hear about. Talking to people from the place, spending time with them and enjoy it: that the true sense of travelling.
Moreover, studying social policies and alternatives economies opened my eyes on all different kind of possibility.
I think we should believe in the positive aspect of human being and put some trust in each other.

Interests

Travelling, discovering new things, people and cultures, that is obviously my number one interest. I'd love to be able to speak many languages and have friends all around the world!I like discovering new people and their cultures, new food and new traditions. Since I come from a little village up in the mountains, I also learned to enjoy trekking, looking at a scenery and spending time in the nature.

I also like all sports (or almost all), I used to do karate, ski (alpins and cross country), badminton, handball, swimming, speleology... and I tried a bunch of other sports like volleyball, scuba diving, fencing, equitation, etc..

I also like reading and do artistic activities. Art was one of my optional cours in High School and I enjoy scrap-booking, drawing, painting, doing some calligraphy, playing in theatre or playing music (and I love listen to it).

And of course I like the life, meeting my friends, debating on current international issues or news, and having fun !

Music, Movies, and Books

Impossible to choose between soo many incredible things!...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Italy, a Modena, during the last big earthquake so it was a very important experience of my life !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently doing a 3 years project, volunterring for the all year for NGOs working on sustainable food. I'm travelling with 3 other girls for the all year. We spent 3 months in India, 1 in Nepal, 1,5 in Thailand and currenlty exploring Philippines.
I can speak about pretty much everything, and I'd love to meet you and to listen to your stories, adventures, and unexpected events!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I just began my life of adventurer or traveler, but I've already spent 2 months in Ireland, 6 in Canada, 1 in Mexico (alone) and currently travelling in Asia :)
However, since half of my family is Italian and the other is French, I know a lot of stuff about France and Italy and their cultures.
