Overview
About Me
What's up travel community.
I am Morten, born in Denmark on a small island where I grew up and spent most of my life.
When I travel I do so to put myself in new environments that I can explore and learn from. I don't want to be alive only in one culture.
First off, I'm super relaxed. As much as I love to travel I generally am as happy to walk around and look at the nature, town or city, or sit some different places for hours or even a whole day and observe. I also like to do hiking, biking, some activities like these or trying something new, but generally, I'm a CALM guy.
I try to be real to myself and people around me.
I pack lightly and go further. Usually only with one backpack.
I am vegetarian with a high degree of vegan so I would be happy to cook you a plant-based meal if you want to try it 😊.
Also I recently got onto to Instagram, so if you want to find me there you can do that @lifejoyacademy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and couchsurfing is very affordable, as well as exciting and interesting. I'm looking forward to see which experiences it will bring me.
I also like the opportunity to host since it allows me to meet people from other cultures at my own house, sort of like a travel from home, and so far hosting has been a great pleasure for me and to my knowledge also for the surfers.
Interests
My best hobby is playing and making music. My acoustic anz electric guitar are very good friends of mine, and i practice new moves on them.
I play keyboard because it is so relaxing and i like to just play something random that I make up in the moment.
Second to this is listening to music, educating myself about anything I find relative, talking about unusual stuff, finding out how to help the world and other people, meditation, reading, seeing new stuff, getting a new perspective, and I love to spend time in nature.
These and more are things that I enjoy to have in my life.
- singing
- guitar
- travel
- freedom
- play
- learning
- everything
- open mind
- honesty

Music, Movies, and Books
'The Most Dangerous Superstition' by Larken Rose. My number one most recommended read.
'A new earth' by Eckhart Tolle.
'The end of all evil' by Jeremy Locke.
'The joyous cosmology' by Alan Watts.
I watched almost all episodes of "The Dog Whisperer" and I could watch it again.
I watch mostly educative stuff but I'm definitely still in on "Attack on Titan".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Becoming peaceful with myself, still working on it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Plant-based cooking, English language, good energy and bad jokes.
I can teach you some guitar mostly if you are new, and if you are a total newbie then I can also teach you some keyboard or piano.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Energy and freeminded conversation.
Discussions about everything from big to small.
I believe in freedom and empowerment for every individual to make and live the life they wish for.
