About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go where I have never gone before and make awesome
ABOUT ME
What is pale, runs on coffee, sleeps fitfully even through nuclear explosions and stands up whenever it's really trying to tell a story? Thaat would be me. The travel bug is not in me in the way that I have to travel RIGHT NOW but I do love to go around doing and finding random, wacky and unusual things with random, wacky and unusual people and learning about different cultures both inside and outside national borders.
I'm serious about not taking life too seriously and trying to find the awesome in everything I do. I'm also a bit of a nerd/geek, but it's an undercover identity so you probably won't even notice unless you're a geek too and I'm trying to get your seal of approval.
I also write needlessly long sentences.
PHILOSOPHY
Be true to yourself and accept all that is.
Or in the words of a good friend of mine:
"keskity olennaiseen" (concentrate on what counts(right now))
You can't have the cake and eat it, unless it's quantum cake.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The CS community more or less made my exchange semester in Vancouver. I was hosted around my interrail trip in the summer of 2011 and I just love everything about the idea of couchsurfing <3.
Interests
Music, movies, computer games, anthropology, philosophy, spirituality(although not in the religious sense), dancing, dreaming, feeling, experiencing and pondering and wondering... I'm interested in most things and life in general. Each day I find something new and interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a sucker for fantasy literature, movies and games, even the bad ones :D. Anything that has fantasy, psychological, philosophical and other ethereal elements interests me.
I read books sporadically and just like in music, I jump from book to book, song to song mainly through recommendations and chance without too much loyalty to their creators. That being said I have read most of Terry Pratchett, Raymond E. Feist and David Eddings ;P
Artists that I love are Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Deadmau5, Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Kanno, Jeremy Soule, Shpongle, Pendulum, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom, Vibrasphere, Incubus, Imogen Heap among many many others
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the beginning of 2007 I spent 6 weeks in India, one the more influential trips of my life. Went on a week long Finland road trip with a friend in the summer of 2008. Maybe not the most extreme trips of my life but it was an unforgettable journey with very strong spontaneous elements :D.
