I’m Ryo who is Japanese living in Paris now. ( due to work since this June )

I’m interested in cultures from different contries. Most of the part I am spending in my daily life is related about it. Learning from movies, books, browsing something, attending some events, visiting the art exhibition and of course traveling! Recently, I realized that it is coming from my interest that how people see the object through their eyes which has their own background. Understanding the difference is so much fun for me.

I like plants and flowers. The reason why I love those is that those are loved over the ages and places.
So far I don’t know something else having it like flowers or plants.

And I like football and I used to play ice hockey. I like watching all sports !

I usually like to use the bicycle instead of public transportation in my daily life. ( In Tokyo, Paris wherever I live or travel)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience local people! And I want to talk with the people who have different culture from me.
Let's share our experience!

For guests, You don't need to bring towel. Because I also travel a lot. I know it's spend lots of space in your bag to bring. So I'm preparing it.

But I like to watch all sports. Sports is kind of my life and passion.

Traveling is my passion as well.
I really like to know cultures in the world. There are so much types of way of life. It's interesting.
And I'm very interested in history of the world.
Most beautiful things of traveling is meeting new people who are growing up different from me. They are giving me specific part of the world. To get to know their life and philosophy is awesome. Each of them have brilliant life even they still didn't know their self.

These gives me some tips and new perspective. It's also way to know different cultures.
I like to go to museum and galleries.
And I like to read books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hosted a couple at my house in Tokyo. After a half of a year, I visited them for a week. It was one of the my best memories of my life.

Driving to Persepolis in Iran with host and other couchsurfer were amazing. We had so much fun together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can sleep everywhere even just on the floor!
