Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have spent weeks in forest of dark woods, rain, snow, hail, and hot temperatures with the smallest amount of supplies for survival. So, I am grateful to have a roof over my head and a place to sleep at every night. I believe in the rule of the traveler to help those traveling as others have helped you. I do not understand why people must spend 90 dollars or more a night for a hotel if they are going to be asleep for the most part or outside traveling. I think this new style of traveling is a great use of the internet and the global community at its finest. As to the expensive hotels that no longer have as many guest, maybe they can start their own page too! If you can't find a five star hotel yet, I have a couch for you! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have had great experience to sharing Olympic tickets with surfers in Beijing, traveling South China too meet a couch surfer for the first time who I did not know was a good friend of another couch surfer that I did know. Traveling with them through Japan. Meeting a few groovy couch surfers in South Korea and Hong Kong, who will be coming to visit me in August. Last minute save in Maine continued friendship all around awesome!

Ping pong, cartwheels on the beach, mixing cookie dough, chucking corn, petting zoos, cloud counting, scrabble boarding, waterfall hunter, looking for "the fizz" after a tide breaks, hard core hot tubing, natural springing, river swimming, skinny dipping, dancing naked in the rain. anti snake killing, chasing jumping spiders because I like to watch them hop! Mixing things in a blender......ON HIGH SPEED. Laughing with people, laughing with ducks and other animals. No I do not laugh AT them. Love, nature, life screaming till it sounds like I am singing. Singing till it sounds like I am screaming. Row boats in circles. White water rafting canoeing in a big lake. Try to make sense of all the people who are not colorblind. Being natural, being unnatural, being myself. Learning something new every day, learning something old every other day. Like laughing at my mistakes, since I make a lot of them I stay entertained. Being a teacher, being a student. People watching. Random flowing....There is more......but you have an idea.
