About Me

Just finished an internship in a monastery based in Cambridge, MA, and having some time between now and my next job, decided to walk by foot from there to Lancaster, Pa carrying all my gear in a BOB running stroller; to save my back from the hard work. =)

Interests

I enjoy reading (mostly dull commentaries on ancient text), biking everywhere, working as a hospice volunteer, watching good films, playing chess (very slowly), and meeting people from all walks of life. I'm passionate about and study religion, peace theology, spirituality, and its hopefully (fingers crossed) relevant application.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a year to travel around the circumference of the US on a non-motorized kick-scooter, thus my nickname: Scooter, which I was officially knighted at a national hobo convention by a Hobo King (no lie).

Teach, Learn, Share

As mentioned above, I'm a bit of a movie buff (modern), and I'm a proficient conversationalist in all things religion (Christianity specifically, in all its many flavors) and theology. I'm decent at chess, and am somewhat knowledgeable on grief counseling (mostly from work as a hospice volunteer).
