ABOUT ME

I love every waking minute. I am never bored and always busy. I have a beautiful wife Rose of 37 years and a wonderful daughter Andrea 28 and still no grandchild, but she is talking about a baby this year - hurrah!

I always have my camera with me for scenery or people shots. I enjoy selling photography in a variety of formats, paintings and artistic reproductions at our local country Kingston Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

We have a small Trillium Travel Trailer and we love weekends in secluded spots with the ocean splashing and a meal being prepared.

We live on 20 acreas of land in the country side, in a house we built 30 years ago and no one around us. Truly paradise! We know how fortunate we surely are.

We eat organic as much as possible, garden, recycle and compost. I love playing badminton, do yoga stretching and work out.

PHILOSOPHY

My physical body is a gift and I have to treat it with respect and do all I can to enjoy a healthy happy life physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Always making sure anybody I'm with is enjoying the moment weather were playing music, walking, playing sports or sitting around talking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm totally new at this CS and want to try this trip to Rome to start me on my way to see this awsome world we live in and meet the people that are experiencing life as I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to date but want to change that.

Interests

Watching my daughter live her life, seeing paintings by the masters (Monnet, Group of Seven), European architecture, gardens, music (play guitar - Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Stones, MacCartney, Beatles, etc), Listening to eclectic music, working on my house, land and garden, traveling, playing sports and enjoying people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've experienced a spirit pass through my body as my brother Gerry passed away in my arms in 1980 at the age of 33.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching drawing classes. I find out at what level the students are and show them how to move up a notch or two in their finished work. I've only been doing this for two years and I find it so rewarding as the student is so appreciative with big, big smiles.
