About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore places foreign to me while on a budget and helping others who want to travel cheaply!

ABOUT ME

I am a mellow, simple gal who tends to keep to herself. Though I can be shy, I have been told I am "great craic". I am pretty tidy, a vegan, and I am a good listener who has a love for rural land and art.

MORALS INCLUDE...

Being kind to all creatures and lending a helping hand not for the purpose of self gratification.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

GOAL

It would be nice to find places to stay as I travel. You'll always have a place to crash if you come to my part of Ireland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a couchsurf account but I forgot the username. The first experience was a bit awkward, a guy who was surfing wanted a place to stay and yeah, he ended up just wanting to hook up and was not at all respectful towards me.

The other experience was okay. I let a Ukrainian man stay at my apartment for a month. He was clean, I let him eat my food, and when he saved up enough money, he became a fisherman in Alaska.

Couchsurfing is something I have yet to do myself as I have yet to be accepted for a couch. I do wonder if my profile and pictures play a role in that. I don't take pictures when I travel, I just go and experience the world. Maybe I will take pictures if ever I buy a camera, but the photos will not be of me, but rather the intriguing view or something along the lines of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by Nikolai Gogol is preferred to be read. John Buchan creates some nice adventure thrillers and Gunter Grass is oh, so poetic. Anton Chekov is a favorite as well.

The Beatles and Harry Nilsson produce my favorite tunes. A few others include Oingo Boingo, Carolina Cotton, Bob Wills, Rex Allen, Woody Guthrie, and old school Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I am not the biggest fan of movies, but I were to pick I suppose Beetlejuice or Peewee's Big Adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pow wow with my family on the Navajo reservation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn how to make glass smoking pipes and clay pottery in particular. Wood carving is something I can do, but so far I have only achieved basic shapes. Art is love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ganja and stories.
