ABOUT ME

Retired military who never had the "military bent." Am happy with living in Hawaii but have seen a great part of this great world of ours and would like to see it all. I am considering, in a couple years, to move away from this paradise, live somewhere inexpensive near a beach and travel, travel, travel. Think Couchsurfing could play a big part in that enjoyment; both surfing and hosting.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy has been changing recently. A friend is a hospice nurse and hearing her stories has made me realize that life is short. So, now my philosophy is leaning towards: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
