ABOUT ME

i'm quirky and love myself! i personally feel that i've been through a fair share in life, but know that there are so many others who have had it worse off. people tell me i'm always happy and a good person. i like to think i am, and love helping others no matter what. i'm indecisive and wishy-washy somtimes, but i've been getting better. i love to debate but hate arguments and any raised voice. like i said before communication is they key to my life, so even though i am a mjor introvert, i express myself very well and will give an answer to any question you ask me. i like to think i'm open minded and i'm eager to meet new people to share this amazing life with!

PHILOSOPHY

i've recently come to realize that my life, almost eveythign that has occured in my family and the 20 years i've been on this planet has come down to one word: communication. being able to bridge the gap between two completely different cultures and understand what someone else is saying amazes me. when you're a child you grow up and feel as if the world revolves around you. now i've realized there are so many people out there who i want to meet! i never want to stop learning languages because i never want to be without the ability to connect with someone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm ready to surf and let others surf with me! i live with my sister, and she's a pit paranoid, but we'll see how things go. i want to learn from this community and help contribute any knowledge i may have for others. whatever you need i'll try to help with!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

haven't had the chance to surf with anyone on this site, but my good friend faith and i went to savannah and stayed with an amazing women who let us sleep on her porch bed (she offered and inside room but we opted for the out doors). it rained that night and the sounds and feelings of that evening will never leave my mind. i'm so ready to have more experiences!

Intereses

i love reading and writing, music, people-watching, social interactions, psych is a bit of a hobby, laughter, thunder, lighning and rain, sports-hockey, basketball, rugby, crew, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, the beach, conversing, coffee, dark chocolate, lying in the grass, my puppy issy, fashion. i'm sure there is tons more to me then just these things, but since my profile was bumped from the crash, i think this will do for now.

Música, películas y libros

i'm friends with some bfa film majors so i see movies in a different light, but truely love horror/suspense/thriller/scary whatever you want to call them, stupid humor, any kind of humor actually, love love love 80's movies, and anything that will make me think. music wise i love folk, indie, punk, rock, alternative, jazz, blues, swing, big band, classical, pop, i'll give it a listen, but i mainly don't dive into country or rap too often. when it comes to books i love the secret life of bees, sue kidd monk it amazing, the alchemist, a seperate peace, tuesday with morrie, flannery o'connor, so many more, ohh and i'm in love with poetry.

i have a horrible memory, but i know that i see amazing things everyday. i know that there is always something beautiful around me despite all the bad. ya ya ya, call me an optomist, but if you look at the world the right way, everything has the potential for beauty. going to spain was pretty amazing, even if there were some problems when i left.

i'm not sure what i would be able to teach anyone. all i know is that i've got a big heart and am willing to give as much love and care to anyone who needs it. i would love to learn as many languages as possible, so the more people i meet the more i can continue to learn!
