ABOUT ME
I'm a laid back kind of person interested in trying new things and hoping to see as much of the world as possible! I've lived in Brisbane for most of my life (with some years spent in North West Queensland and Toowoomba, so you're interested in travelling out west I know a little bit!). I'm half-Fijian, so I've spent a fair bit of time over there as well.
Currently I'm doing a science degree majoring in geology and I fill in the rest of my week working for a mining company.
I enjoy a bit of everything, including sports (playing & watching), reading, and getting out on my bike on the weekends. I have a competitive streak which at the moment I exercise playing in a local netball competition and competing with Brisbane's brains at pub trivia.
I have fairly eclectic tastes in music and movies and I'm not too fussed about genres in particular - I guess I just like whatever I just happen to like!

Interests
Cycling - taking my road bike out on Sundays up the beach, or along the river
Snowboarding - we don't here by way of snow but NZ is just a quick and cheap trip across the ditch and love snowboarding over there
Reading - anything and everything! I love reading old books but I completely love reading Wikipedia articles at random (which helps with the trivia)
Netball - it's awesome. If you've never played... we'll be happy to put you on the team for the day!
Blogging - yeah, I have a travel blog...haha
Trivia - pub trivia is a great Aussie institution and we get pretty competitive while eating glorious pub food
Knitting - mainly in winter when freezing 18 degree temperatures (haha) prevent us from leaving the house at night
