ABOUT ME

Raised in a small town in Kentucky by two wonderful parents. Dad is from Louisville, KY and my mother is from London, England. They raised 8 children in a conservative town that I don't think has yet to recover, not that it needs to. Small towns usually equal small minds. My parents did all they could to smash that perception and introduce the fact that there is a whole world of others out there.

PHILOSOPHY

There is nothing wrong with getting lost on purpose for awhile. There are no ordinary momments and white, ango saxon males have screwed this whole planet up, but not beyond repair. WHEW

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in what I consider the most closed-minded, bigoted, racist place there could ever possibly be. I want to introduce people of other cultures, religions and nationalities to this area. This area has been stuck in the early part of the previous century and it needs to change. Come visit, show the people there is more to the world than small town Kentucky.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet but hopefully that will change in the very near future.

Interests

Hiking, camping, reading, travel, politics, religion. Not really interested in the weather but I do believe in global warming. Where are all the emissions from the fossil fuels we consume going?? I'm a big supporter of our next president. Sen Barack Obama and can't wait till he's in office and this country gets back on track instead of trying force our agenda onto others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about everything except rap. Sorry but it just doesn't do anything for me. I love to read. Prefer non-fiction as my brain supplies me with more than enough fiction. I've about given up on movies as they all turn out to be love stories and the true facts are so skewed I hardly recognize them from the books they are based on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm most proud of contributing to the campaign of Sen Barack Obama for president. Didn't think I'd ever be so moved by a person to act. Doesn't sound like much but he motivates more than anyone ever has in my life. Good things are about to happen.
