About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To come up with a better mission
ABOUT ME
I would describe myself as adventerous and whimsical. I have many different interests ranging from Heian Japan to rugby. I like learning new things, and as a result I can play 4 different instruments, speak a few languages, and have dabbled in a variety of crafts such as jewelry making, knitting, and simple sewing.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy follows closely with that of the ancient skeptics of Greece. That is to say, I don't believe anything except that there is always the possibility that something is true. For example, there is no hard proof there is a god, but there is no proof that there is no god.
So since there is no proof against anything, you might as well try everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite genre is fantasy for books and movies, followed closely by romance. My favorite authors are Robert Jordan and Tamora Pierce. I also read a lot of manga (Japanese graphic novels), watch a lot of anime (Japanese cartoons) and lately have been addicted to J-drama, K-drama and T-drama (Japanese Korean and Taiwanese). My favorite shows are Joss Whedon's Firefly, "Ouran Host Club" and "Hagaren (Fullmetal Alchemist) Lately I've been listening to a lot of J-pop and J-rock from the same artists that do the theme songs to my shows. I also like classical music, especially if I have played music by the composer. Right now I'm listening to Holst's 'Planets'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've seen was my Japanese hometown (when I studied abroad) in the rain. The clouds get caught in the mountains, and everything seems like magic. It's like Totoro could pop out at any moment. Ahh magic.
