About Me

Hello, I'm Murilo, a brazilian guy living in Dublin - Ireland for a while to learn English. It's my first time in Europe and trust me, I don't want to leave.

In 2014, I was at university in Brazil, studying Computer Science, but that wasn't what I was looking for, so in 2015 I took off from Brazil and here I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS for me is the best option, because you can meet new people, enjoy the culture and this is for FREE! YEAH!

A lot of people are flying every single day to enjoy their holidays or just take a break, maybe with friends, however if you are going alone, is there something better than stay with someone that really know the culture, good advises about the city and maybe some Secret spots.

Interests

Meet new people, discover new cultures, live each day as if it was your last. I'm going to a backpacking through Europe between 14th March to 3rd April, it will be very fast, crazy days and lots of kilometers to go. 10 cities in 22 days, LET'S DO IT!

But in general, sports, not football, but some like rally, ski, mountain bike, bmx.

I love diving, I did a course with my father, I have a PADI certificate, maybe in a future I'll do the NITROX to dive deeper.

Everyday trying to learn new things.

I use a lot my computer, game addicted.

Music, Movies, and Books

No, I don't really like samba... hahaha It is hard to talk about music, but in general, most of my time I listen to electronic, hip-hop or the Top 50 from Spotify hahahaha

I've watched Breaking Bad, all of the episodes and now I'm trying to finish The Walking Dead. Since I came in Europe, musics and movies took part of my life, I think this is a good way to improve your language skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Came to Ireland, alone, with a really basic English. The first day was the most exciting day of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will start with learn, because that's my objective here, day to day I've been learning new thing, new words, new worlds! Life is too short to learn everything, but we have to work hard to enjoy our days.

When people from different country come and start talking about differences, about food, places, whatever, it's for me an amazing moment to discover the world with your feet on the ground.

Teach? This is trick, people come to me and ask for a dance, or do some "embaixadinhas" with a ball, it's kinda continuous kick with a ball in the air, did you get it? hahaha But if you want to try "Caipirinha" an alcoholic drink from Brazil, with "cachaça" (Spirit made of sugar-cane), sugar, lime and ice, of course I will do it for you! hahahaha

Nowadays I thing the world needs love, peace, friendship, needs people that cares with another one. Help people who doesn't have good conditions to live a good life with dignity. That's what we need to share. (And sometime a space for a food CS hahahaha)
