About Me

I am an engineer by major AND by soul. I'm sort of a science and mathematics nerd. I love learning and improving. I have the uncontrollable desire to understand everything ranging from theoretical physics to history to art. I may like math, but I'm also deeply in love with art in all forms. Especially movies and TV shows. I can complete an entire conversation with nothing but movie quotes. I can hold a conversation very well about pretty much anything. I'm always interested in what people have to say. I want to be able to see things from your perspective and see the world from your eyes. We can exchange funny stories, stories of struggle and hardship, stories that changed your life, anything. I love stories. I also want to hear your jokes and tell you some of mine. Although fair warning, my jokes are very cheesy and I'll be laughing at them for hours on end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought a messed up 1991 Toyota MR-2 turbo (aka the poor man's Ferrari) that desperately needed love. I completely restored it, from the ground up, and modified it beautifully. I raced it and pushed it hard for about 2 years. I scared every friend and family member I could get into the car. I did all of the work by hand and learned a lot on the job. I had to do a ton of research and also put my engineering education into action to get it running and in racing shape. And modifying it to racing spec was an even bigger challenge because I wanted to keep it drivable and have it not feel like a Frankenstein project by just throwing random parts into it. I tested it with a ton of different brands of each part until I found the right combo that makes it fast, safe, reliable, and most importantly FUN!!! It took about 2 years of my college life and I recently sold it to start another project car.
