Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING If I can help somebody, my couch is yours... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My first experience (09/2009) was great: I hosted a lovely woman from Australia; we went to the braderie de Lille and spoke a lot about our lives. I hope to see you again Magret in France or in Australia (why not?). My second experience (03/2010) was with 2 young Taïwanese girls in France for 9 months to learn French. We visited Lille and Bruges (Belgium). They were incredible! We had fun and they learnt a lot at home. The 3rd experience (04/2010) was a young German couple who visited Lille (Palais des Beaux Arts), Roubaix (Museum La Piscine, Parc Barbieux) and the Citadelle, the Bois de Boulogne in Lille.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
The best thing I've done in my life so far is my daughter! I looove her. The most incredible: I've overcome my fear of water, I'm no longer aquaphobic and I can swim. And in April 2013 I had my first dive in the Red Sea: it was really great! unforgettable... The most beautiful scenes I've seen are in New-Caledonia. I hope to go again overthere one day!
Teach, Learn, Share
I arrived in South-West of France in January 2015 (previously from Lille in North of France). As I'm retired I can discover my new region with CS. We can discover the Pyrénées, the countryside and the regional gastronomy. I hope CS can also teach me about their country or region.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Welcome. I can pick up at the station. As I'm retired I can visit with the CS. We can cook together, they can learn me their own cooking.
My Interests
I like travelling, TV documentaries about countries and way of life, cooking, reading, knowing new people, new cultures. And in March 2017 I discovered Postcrossing and it has become one of my favorite past-time: to send postcards all over the world and almost every day receive one or more postcard(s) from people I don'nt know.
