CURRENT MISSION Seizing our lives ABOUT ME We are Michael and Ute, both 18 years old and a couple for nearly 2 years now. We grew up and still live in the south of Austria. We just finished our maturra (something like the A-levels). Ute is going to study in autumn and I (Michael) will start community service (it is a duty in our country) in autumn and want to start studying next year.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We never hosted someone, but we spent a lot of time with the surfers my brother hosted and all of our experiences have been positive so far. We also surfed my brothers appartement a few times.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mainly Metal, especially Progressive Metal, Rock, (Horror) Punk but also Country, Classical music, Jazz, Funk and so on... Movies: As said above, we like very old (1920s, 1930s, ...) horror movies, but we also like all kinds of funny stuff (e.g. Monty Phyton). Books: Ute especially likes Edgar Allan Poe (of course the original english texts and no translations), my interests are widespread reaching from fantasy or science fiction novels to philosophical books or comics.
My Interests
We are (of course) interested in music and films (especially very old horror movies), we also spent quite a lot of time whith computer games but we also go out whenever we have got the opportunity to. I (Michael) am very interested in philosophy, I am also thinking of becoming a teacher for philosophy, psychology and informatics.
