Hi! Iโm Nafisa from Bangladesh. I love to travel and explore new cultures with my husband, Hasib. Weโve recently trekked to Everest Base Camp and visited several countries together. Every journey gives us new stories, new friends, and unforgettable experiences. Back home, I run a small business where I help expatriates find furnished apartments. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their way of life. Iโm friendly, respectful, and always open to sharing travel stories over a cup of tea. I believe in cultural exchange and making meaningful connections through kindness and curiosity.

The best travel tip I've received is...
to enjoy the journey, not just the destination.
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best part of traveling is meeting people and experiencing local life. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with kind, open-minded people around the world. Instead of just being a tourist, I want to understand a place through its people, food, and stories. I also love hosting and sharing my culture in return!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Music is a big part of my life. I love listening to different kinds of music, especially soulful and acoustic songs. I can play the guitar and also love to sing. Music helps me relax, express myself, and connect with people on a deeper level. Movies: I watch movies sometimes, mostly when I want to relax or enjoy a quiet evening. I like movies that are emotional, inspiring, or travel-related. Books: Reading books is not really my favorite thing to do. I usually prefer music or watching travel content over reading.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Trekking to Everest Base Camp was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Walking through the majestic Himalayas, crossing suspension bridges, and finally reaching the base of the worldโs highest peak felt like a dream come true. The journey tested my limits, but it also gave me strength, inspiration, and unforgettable memories.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share stories and tips from our travel experiences, including how we prepared for the Everest Base Camp trek. I can also talk about Bangladeshi culture, food, and traditions. If youโre curious about life in South Asia or how to start a small business, Iโd be happy to share! Learn: I love learning about new cultures, languages, and local customs. Iโm always curious to try traditional food, understand how people live in different countries, and hear personal stories that reflect their culture and values. Share: I love sharing meals, laughter, and real connections. I can cook some Bangladeshi dishes if youโd like to try! I can also help with travel planning, photography, or just be a good listener and friend.
