I love the arts, traveling adventures and nature! I also love to meet all kinds of people. I'm a trail runner and participate in local and destination races. International travel interests, keeps me looking for opportunities in other lands. I've recently enrolled in a class to teach ESL. I live between Cleveland and Akron, OH. near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and spend much of my free time running, biking with friends or working in my garden. I love flowers and I try to create a bee and butterfly habitat.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because I love to meet the locals in the destinations I visit. When you stay in a hotel, you only meet other travelers who don't know the area either.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz, Folk, local music and European Classical. Movies: Drama's, musicals, National Geographic Books: historical fiction genre. Now I'm reading "Life and Death in the Andes, on the Trail of Bandits, Heroes, and Revolutionaries"
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've run a 50 kilometer trail race.

I've traveled to many countries. Most of the western European countries, Iceland, Morocco, Lebanon, Guatemala and Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.
