About Me

Hi! I wouldn't call myself a beginner traveller in the prosaic sense of the word, but more of a one constantly excited about the beauty of the world, like a beginner;) In the past, I used to go on last-minute holidays but luckily I've discovered this website and "the wild way"; Hitchhiking, bus, aeroplane, "andando" - those cause a stir in my soul! I did Erasmus in Spain and Portugal, travelled plenty in-between and now I'm freelancing wherever possible trying to find...my way of life I guess. I like to think of myself as an easygoing person that enjoys both: company and solitude. Everything I do in life, like studying and languages, are steps I take towards my future independent travel life full of exchanging knowledge and experiences, as well as hopefully wine, music and waves of laughter - I guess this is my main aim :D
Will be great to meet you on my road!

If porcelain, then only the kind
you won’t miss under the shoe of a mover or the tread of a tank;
if a chair, then not too comfortable, lest
there be regret in getting up and leaving;
if clothing, then just so much as can fit in a suitcase,
if books, then those which can be carried in the memory,
if plans, then those which can be overlooked
when the time comes for the next move
to another street, continent, historical period
or world:

who told you that you were permitted to settle in?
who told you that this or that would last forever?
did no one ever tell you that you will never
in the world
feel at home in the world?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to try Couchsurfing because i heard so many positive opinions about it and because I want to meet new people and cultures, what is a better place to do that than at the very core of the country - its locals. I wish to have many opportunities to meet amazing people and introduce a bit of my culture into their lives :)

Interests

I'm interested in literature, rock/metal music with plenty of other genres, motorbikes, sailing, sports and different languages and cultures. Also I like walking the mountains, spending time with friends, discovering new places and also cooking and eating good food - one of the easiest ways to make me smile :)
