ABOUT ME

I grew up here in the Boston area and returned in 2002 after stints in Washington, D.C., Prague, and Berkeley, California. I'm close to my family and enjoy living near them again.

In my work, I try to promote social justice by representing clients who need public assistance to meet their basic human needs. My job can be draining at times, but very rewarding.

I love to travel. In recent years, I've been to Brazil, all over southern Africa, India, the Balkans, Poland, and Spain.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In 2009, I took a sabbatical from work and spent 3 months volunteering and traveling in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, and Mozambique. At a project in Zambia, I got to work with lions from 12-17 months old. It was incredible to be up close to such amazing (and dangerous) animals.
