Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 year old newly university graduate on a gap year before pursuing master's studies abroad. I've majored in Radio, TV and Cinema at Erciyes University and currently work as a freelance English teacher online.
I'm first and foremost a language learning - and teaching--enthusiast and an over all people enthusiast if I might say haha. If you want to discuss human rights and world politics over a cup of coffee then I am down. But if you also wanna talk about how Kourtney was super rude to Kim yet AGAIN on the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardadhians over a glass of wine then I'm up for that as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I've been a part of this amazing community for the past year through friends' accounts and thought it's about time I make my own lol
But really, I just feel it's a great step into planting trust, curiosity and compassion between us humans and I wouldn't wanna miss out on this now would I?
I would like to incorporate people into my own trips and offer the same opportunity for ones visiting my city. I am quite aware travellers have their own plans as well and I respect that, but the times spent getting to know each other, cooking, laughing, having fun outside with a local with CS spirit is always so memorable and makes the trip a bit more special!

Music, Movies, and Books

-Movies :
Give me Dicaprio in anything and I'm OK
-Books :
Nineteen Eighty Four, Animal Farm
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Moving out of Saudi Arabia to pursue university studies after being born and raised there up until the age of 18; the world no longer seemed small.
-Living in South Korea; if you ever get the opportunity to visit/study/live there, even if for a short period of time, DO IT!
-Going to my first concert of my favorite group as a 23 year this year, I'll never ever forget how I gasped when I entered the stadium and was shocked by the amazing sound of music on loud speakers.
Teach, Learn, Share
-I can teach you about my country as I'm quite positive many don't know anything about it, which is OK I became accostomed to it hah
-Teach you a few phrases in Turkish which could save your life - or save your pocket- in addition to Arabic and Korean if you're interested
-Since I can't cook to save my life I can take you or guide you to amazing traditional restaurants, be that of Turkish or Arab restaurants
-I'd love to know some interesting and maybe not so well known aspects about your country/hometown
-As I am a good listener as I am a talker, I'd genuinely love to learn anything you have to offer
