About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience life to the fullest in ways that are positive and meaningful
ABOUT ME
I'm a culturally conscious, intelligent, down-to-earth yet business minded, vegan, fun-loving, daughter, sister, friend, community advocate, and young entrepreneur/professional with no children.
I consider myself a well-rounded person. I love vegetarian cooking, social activities, salsa dancing, cultural activities, political discussions, reading, working out and being active.
PHILOSOPHY
I have always been able to get high on life. I encourage others to discover how to get high on life is a helluva lot cheaper and healthier than the alternatives. And the feeling is outta this world.
If you're not angry (about societies conditions) you're not paying attention
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far just surfed and offered area vistor tips but when I move I'd like to host. All my hosts have been great so I'd like to pay it forward to others when I have a place of my own.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
being a single woman traveling alone I was a little skeptical of the whole service at first but I met 3 amazing women through my couch surfing experience in Puerto Rico.
Interests
SALSAAAAAA Y BACHATAAAA!!!!! I love dancing and especially salsa, merengue y bachata but I also love African dance, belly dance and ballroom dance.
I love learning too so reading, researching and attending lectures is on the list. I've recently gotten addicted to scrabble on my smart phone and I love all the new vocabulary words I'm learning. LOL Nerdy but who cares.
I love nature and the environment and animals. I've started a couple of environmental groups and integrate environmentally conscious procedures at all my clients offices.
Other than that I enjoy traveling and am super social so I love meeting new people from new and exciting places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the dungeons at El Mina and Cape Coast in Ghana was one of the most powerful things I've ever experienced.
I went camping with my couchsurfing host on the beach on the island of Vieques in Puerto Rico. I woke up just before sunrise and I was the only one on the entire coastline. I watched and video taped the sunrise while listening to the waves crashing, birds singing and animals waking up with the sun. It was the most beautiful feeling.
Standing in the warmest, clearest, gentle flowing water on the beach at Coconut Grove in Ghana was the most cleansing and rejuvenating experience I've ever had. I could live out my days on that beach with just the coconuts and fresh fruit to keep me going and I'd be just fine.
Teach, Learn, Share
dancing, cooking, language, business, vegetarianism, and pretty much anything. I think you can learn from any person, situation, or activity something you never thought you'd need but true value pawn in the future.
