I enjoy offering my home to tired travelers who need a place to restore before continuing on their journey. I love meeting new people and learning what they are doing with their time in life. I tend to be a quiet and thoughtful person, though occasionally I will become very lively and engaged in conversation or some game or hobby. I take a lot of joy in thoroughly applying myself to tasks, but there's also a part of me that loves to revel in being utterly relaxed and lazy. These days I'm super busy- I probably can't hang out a ton, but I will do my best to at least have some coffee/tea with you or go for a walk!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
While wandering the many annexes and corners of the internet, I stumbled on something titled "How To Travel Anywhere In The World, Live With Locals, and Enjoy Outstanding Experiences By CouchSurfing!". At the time Couchsurfing sounded like using a couch like a surfboard in the ocean, but I humored the idea and gave it a read. And that's what started my journey to the world of CSing. You can read this guide here, though I think it's a tad out of date due to some updates to the Couchsurfing website. http://www.ridiculouslyextraordinary.com/SpecialOps/REBlackBook001.pdf- (update 2022: link no longer works...)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm RYT 200 certified in yoga. I used to teach, but those memories are long faded. I will talk a long time about the philosophy around yoga though. I work as a software engineer, and although still very young in this field, I'm starting to have some opinions xD I can teach you how to make kitchari! It's one of my favorite foods.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A deep enthusiasm for life and exploring.
My Interests
I am a very curious person. As long as I don't think something will damage me long term, I will probably try it at least once. Even if I think it may be unpleasant-- curiosity trumps fear. A brief list of things I find interesting: mathematics, yoga, health, physiology, puzzles, logic games, food, ecology.
