I am 22 years old and love to travel. I have spent much of my time learning and exploring the world and have realized that that is what I want to do. I spent a year abroad in France going to school and learning the language and culture. I spent a year working as an au pair for a lovely family in Berlin and currently still live there where I work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is better when you get to connect with people. I enjoy talking and learning about what the world is like for other people. Accept diversity and learn from the people who know. Couchsurfing seems like a good way to meet locals and visit the hidden beauties of the world.

Interests

I am passionate about travel among other things. Music is a major part of my life. I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains that I've grown up next to as well as bike riding around town and visiting the parks. I am also a fairly skilled skier because Grew up close to many ski resorts.

Pink Floyd is my life. I also like anything from The Beatles to the Kinks to Pearl Jam. The Who.. A lot of rock n' roll. There are just so many amazing artists. My favorite movie is Little Miss Sunshine and my favorite book is Farenheit 451.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was 16 going on 17 when I traveled to France on my own for the first time. I was studying abroad there and was able to get myself through school there and learn French culture and history along the way.
