About Me

Hi:) My name is Natasha and I am from Kazakhstan. But I am studying in Italy now. I am an all-round person as I like so many different things and have a lot of hobbies. But what I am most passionate about is learning and teaching languages. When I was in the 10th grade of school I went to America for a year as an exchange student and this totally changed my life. Now I am doing my PhD in the Universities of Verona and Bolzano and working as an English and Russian teacher.

I love the nature and I am happy to meet new people from the different parts of this huge and beautiful Earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in love with people, their cultures and traditions, hobbies, and their way of life. This all seems so fascinating to me. Probably this why I am starting my journey as a traveller. I haven't travelled a lot and don't have a lot of experience but it's never too late to start.

And being a student is not very easy to travel the world. I am glad here is this couchsurfing website that can solve this problem.

And the best thing is the opportunity to meet new people, exchange your cultures and make friends!

Interests

I can't imagine my life without sport. I do crossfit, powerlifting, yoga, and calisthenics. I also do postcrossing, I collect postcards from all around the world and I am very happy all the time I get a new one in my mail box. I am a theater-goer, I like mostly dramas. I also like reading, painting, DIY and handiwork.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all genres and all kinds of music.
My most favourite books are "Dandelion wine" by Ray Bradbury, "the Handmaids Tale" by Margaret Atwood and a play "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf " by Edward Albee.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want I can teach you some English or Russian over a cup of tea or we can simply chat about life, cultures, hobbies, art, etc. I am an open-minded person who is always ready to talk and to listen to your stories:)
