Overview
About Me
My husband and I homeschool our six kids, ages 3, 4, 14, 14, 16 & 17. I was a paralegal but I am now a homeschool mom and a musician. We love to try new foods. My little two are normal rambunctious toddlers but can be still and quiet when told to. My 4 teenage boys are well behaved gentlemen. We are a non-denominational Christian family. My oldest 2 boys plan to join the marines and the airforce - one likes boxing and wants to box for the military, the other has already started learning to be a pilot and has flown solo. The twins want to be ranchers and join the ministry as pastors, and one would also like to be a vet to benefit a ranching community and share the gospel at the same time. We would be interested in any activities related to these pursuits. My 4 yr old daughter (our only girl) loves anything girly too! We are all musicians and we love music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This year we have been focusing on U.S. history so we want to make an inexpensive cross country educational trip to see important historical places as well as national parks and places each state is known for. We want to cultivate patriotism in our children and have a memorable trip. I will be making the trek without my husband so there will only be 7 of us. We have sleeping bags and can sleep on the floor comfortably.
