About Me
Hello there!
***I'm very sorry, I'm currently not in Cape Town!***
Also, please don't send any flirty messages. I am in a happy relationship and want to continue using CS to make friends.
My name is Nathalie, from Frankfurt, Germany. I lived in Cape Town, South Africa for a year and now I'm finally back to traveling. If I honestly had to name one passion, it would be traveling off the beaten tracks. I have so many good memories with couch surfing and local communities. My favourite countries so far are Lebanon and India!
I have just finished my LL.M. and PhD in Human Rights Law and Minority Protection, so it's time for new adventures. Where? No idea, I'll just go with the flow :)
Please also check my references on my old profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/nathalie-fra
I love writing and reading. Especially poetry <3 I have been writing poetry since I knew how to write and it has always been my way of expressing myself.
I'm also quite an active person. Walking around in a new city is always a pleasure. At home, I enjoy yoga and running, sometimes even a little meditation or surfing, but I'm open to new activities :)
Cooking and baking are two passions of mine and I have been vegan since 2020. This means that I also only cook vegan at home, but if you want to bring animal products and prepare them by yourself, I'm completely cool with that. Just be prepared that I will not make you a steak :D
Sending hugs!
Nathalie
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like seeing Couch Surfing as an idea of seeing a country's "true face". I want the full experience when it comes to people, food and everyday life - the good and the bad. I like to soak in as much information as I can. And the best way to start is always getting to know the locals, listening to their stories and experiencing their culture through their eyes. And honestly: Being hosted and hosting has been one of the best experiences!
