ABOUT ME
I'm an ambitious, driven composer/playwright. I also do sound design and live sound mixing for theatre.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm in constant edit mode. I mostly throw darts and hope a few stick. I love to try new things and meet new people. I'm hopelessly artistic and don't mind living frugally to satiate that need. I worked in mortgage for five years and have no plans on returning to a desk/cubicle existence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I own a house in Minneapolis that I hope to be able to share, though I do have a roommate currently. I am looking mostly to be hosted right now as I scour the country for new adventures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've mostly hosted friends. I had a dreadful experience once when staying with a friend of a friend in Brooklyn, and he left for New Jersey without giving us keys. We had to get a hotel for the rest of the stay.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I'm not going to lie and claim that I'm currently a big reader. In the past it's anything by Dostoevsky, Nietzsche, or Fitzgerald. Generally, if I'm reading, it's for my job. I'm pretty well-read, though, I would say.
Movies: Fight Club, Nightmare Before Christmas, Se7en, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, V for Vendetta, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog (not a huge movie guy)
Music (currently - changes rapidly): Jeremy Messersmith, Atmosphere, No Bird Sing, Doomtree, POS
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed with a host family in Bavaria and hung out with the tiniest and cutest Aryan you've ever met in your life.
Teach, Learn, Share
