Overview
About Me
I'm a Cambodian woman with big dreams who likes to have a good time. I am adaptable to many situations: I can be a chic city girl or a help around the farm; I can be your grandmother's best friend or your daughter's favorite adult; we can have silly converstations or serious talks: I like it all!
My philosophy is sharing is caring: if you have something to give, you should! I don't want to be rich, I just want to enjoy my time on this earth living life to the fullest. For me that means spending time with people, appreciating the small things and good bamboo soup!
I love to meet new people and travel, both in my country and around the world. If you stay with me, you'll be welcomed with open arms and if I stay with you, we'll never have a dull moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people and have good experiences.
Interests
I'm an aspiring business owner-- I am in the process of opening a guesthouse in Banlung for travelers to get an authentic and genuine experience of Ratanakiri and the beauty it has to offer. I have been running tours around Ratanakiri for several years where I take tourists around trekking in the jungle or to minority villages or a combination of both.
I also like to make jewelry and purses and hope to one day have my own store to sell my work along with other locally made products.

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to show foreigners the beauty of Cambodia and the Ratanakiri province. I have several contacts in all the minority villages surrounding Banlung and moments in these villages are priceless. I can take foreigners around these areas to meet the people, do a homestay for a night (or 3) in the villages, or experience the jungle. I also have a wealth of knowledge if you need info on renting motorbikes or local food or good tours, etc.
I love to talk to and spend time with people-- if you stay with me I want to hear about your adventures and your life and I'm happy to share mine. We can go to the market, buy food and cook together; we can share a couple drinks and hangout: whatever you feel!
I especialy welcome advice about and help with building my guesthouse and starting my business-- any knowledge and skills you can impart is greatly appreciated!
