ABOUT ME

New to the whole traveling and couch surfing world yet very excited to try set quest on a self-fulfilling journey to find peace and serenity in the world. Hopes to meet people from all over the world! I like making new friends and is very keen on learning!

My first time traveling alone, I backpacked across a few countries and then met amazing people that made that trip more enjoyable and will always cherish. I try to be as organised as possible but by now I know one bad thing is bound to happen during my travels and I've accepted that! I love traveling and catching airplanes and getting to know a culture or a country, I fee like it helps me grow as a person (cheesy I know)
As a Psychology student, I believe that it's highly relatable to everything and everyone so naturally I am interested in people :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Had my first guests in May 2014: officially a host yay!
I want to meet new people and meet those who would want to meet others! I feel like couchsurfers have their sense of direction and particular areas of the countries they are staying at!

I have stayed with a few hosts during my first few countries and it was amazing. People are so knowledgable and helpful that my faith in humanity is restored when I am traveling. Shoutout to Viktoria, Cagatay and Elif for making my time so memorable!

Interests

Interested in learning new skills, new experiences and new culture! Making new friends and broadening narrow views of the mind. I like reading books and watching funny shows. I also like eating, which I think should be a sport. I play lots of sports but recently fell in love with Lacrosse; I love chocolate and eating so I guess exercise balances them all out haha

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading in general and I love watching movies especially funny ones so I would have a lot to list here if I tried but if you bring it up with me, I might know it! I don't discriminate against music: anything that's nice to hear is favorable but personally I listen to a lot of acoustic (John Mayer!!, kings of convenience) and indie (Arctic Monkeys, the 1975, Yuna and lots more!) and I am a big big fan of The Beatles!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got a free cab/taxi ride in London! That was the most amazing thing that could've happened to me so far! The taxi driver brought me around London and dropped me off to the door of my station free of charge and all of this happened before 6am!

Got lost in Turkey (both Asian and European side) but people are so helpful there and I appreciate it!! Almost missed the LAST ferry back to my host there but RAN as fast as I could in time to catch it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories and a mediocre pasta or rice meal (given the ingredients!) I can't share much but I love telling stories and listening and learning! I am not a fussy guest so everything goes! I am the type that rather stays in and watch movies with the host or talk or share stories than go out and party as I don't drink, but I wouldn't mind going just to bond!

The thing I can't handle is when the host doesn't look like their picture (AS IN THEY USE SOMEONE ELSE'S PICTURES) as that totally puts me on guard and uncomfortable (why you gotta lieee) but other than that, I love people!
