I work Mon to Fri during the day, and busy on Mon to Wed evenings.
So the best "check-in" time are Thu / Fri evenings or Weekends.

This is CouchSurfing, where it should be about getting to know each other, and exchanging culture and experiences.
1 or 2 nights stay are way too short to get to know each other...
